120 Cellular Respiration...

Is the opposite of photosynthesis  - glucose is broken apart, and the energy is used to make lots of ATP molecules which allow the reactions of metabolism to occur in organisms...

Draw the reaction, and answer the questions below:

1. What is the reaction for cellular respiration?  (products and reactants)
2. What kinds of cells do cellular respiration?
3. In what organelle does cellular respiration occur?
4. What little energy carrying molecule results from cellular respiration?

Need more help?  There are so many videos/tutorials online about photosynthesis&cellular respiration - take a few minutes to look around and teach yourself!

118 - Pictures and steps of mitosis

Show the order of the five steps of the cell cycle (I, PMAT), and tape the correct pictures at each step.

Monday and Tuesday

Learn the steps of mitosis, and what major events are occuring in each step.

Make sure you know when the DNA is duplicated, (is it during mitosis?)

What happens when cells just keep doing mitosis over and over?  (What is this called?)
