58 Karyotypes

Get a computer and do some research to help you answer these questions (remember to note your source!)

1.  What is a karyotype?

2.  What are some things that a karyotype can show you about a person's genes?

3.  What is the difference between a disorder and a disease?

4.  What are at least 3 common disorders that you can see in a human karyotype (use sentences such as "trisomy and monosomy of chromosome ___ results in __________")
